Our Concept

Structures builds fast sailing boats for short-handed offshore sailing. The team at Structures is comprised of people who are passionate about boats, both racers and cruisers, who have dedicated themselves over the past 30 years to the development and build of these pure modern and enjoyable sailing boats, accessible to all.

History

  • 2021TODAY

    We are currently more than 90 specialized technicians in all trades of the shipbuilding industry. Our modern, fully-equipped premises cover nearly 7000 m2.
  • 2021 LAUNCH OF THE POGO 40S4 AND THE LOXO 32 OUTBOARD VERSION

    Launch of the first 3 Verdier-designed Pogo 40s4. The Pogo Foiler dominates the Mini 6.50 championship. Launch of a new Outboard version of the Loxo 32.
  • 2020LAUNCH OF THE POGO 44

    This Finot Conq design becomes a best seller. A perfect balance between power and comfort.
  • 2019LAUNCH OF THE POGO FOILER

    A scow bow, foils, high tech carbon build. The Pogo Foiler is a revolution in the class 6.50 Victory of the Pogo 3 in the Mini Transat
  • 2018LAUNCH OF THE LOXO 32

    We launch the Loxo 32, a very innovative motor boat. Innovation goes on every day!
  • 2017LAUNCH OF THE POGO 36

    The new Pogo 36 is the successor to the Pogo 10.50. Another prestigious award : the boat is elected European Yacht Of The Year in the fast cruiser category.
  • 2016POGO 3, WINNING SAILBOAT

    The Pogo 3 wins all the races of the Mini calendar in 2016.
  • 2015PRESENTATION OF THE POGO 3

    Pogo Structures presents the Pogo3, successor to the Pogo2 winner of the Transat 6.50 since 2003.
  • 2013LAUNCH OF THE POGO 30

    The launch of the Pogo30, is a successful continuation of the Pogo8.50 concept launched 15 years ago. At the same time, the Structures shipyard demonstrates its expertise in offshore racing through its 3rd generation Class40, ever faster and more powerful.
  • 2012PRESENTATION OF THE FIRST POGO 50

    The Pogo 50, an elegant and easy to handle sailboat, designed to sail fast and far with a small crew or as a family.
  • 2012POGO 12.50 : EUROPEAN YACHT OF THE YEAR

    In 2012, the Pogo12.50 is voted best “European Yacht of the Year” by a jury of 10 European magazines in the “performance cruiser” category.
  • 2010NEW BOATS : POGO 40S2 AND POGO 12.50

    Two new boats this year : the Pogo 40S2 for offshore racing and the Pogo 12.50, a modern cruising boat.
  • 2009POGO 10.50, SAILBOAT OF THE YEAR

    The Pogo 10.50 was voted “Sailboat of the year 2009″.
  • 2008A BIG STEP TOWARDS PERFORMANCE FOR OUR CRUISE SHIPS

    In 2007/2008 : two years of work to develop our famous composite / lead lifting keel !
  • 2007POGO 2, WINNER MINITRANSAT - SERIE

    Hervé Piveteau tops the production boat in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil and wins the series in the overall standings.
  • 2006NEW DESIGNS, NEW SUCCESS

    The Pogo 40 takes 1st place in Class 40 in the 2006 Route du Rhum.
  • 2004REVOLUTION IN CONSTRUCTION

    “Revolution”: we experiment and generalize the vacuum infusion construction technique to all our models. A major evolution for the working comfort and quality of our boats.
  • 2003THE POGO 2 REPLACES THE POGO 6.50

    The Pogo 2 replaces the Pogo 6.50. Victory for Erwan Tymen in the Transat 6.50. Christian Bouroullec places 5th in the Transquadra on a Pogo 8.50.
  • 2000POGO 8.50, SAILBOAT OF THE YEAR

    The Pogo 8.50 is voted “Sailboat of the Year”.
  • 1999VICTORY IN THE TRANSAT 6.50

    Christian Bouroullec, the founder, wins the Transat 6.50 in the series class.
  • 1999LAUNCH OF THE POGO 8.50

    That same year sees the launch of the Pogo 8.50, a boat designed for family cruising as well as surfing the Atlantic swell. Victory in the Transquadra Solo in the hands of Michel Mirabel.
  • 1995FIRST PRODUCTION SAILBOAT : THE POGO 6.50

    Structures launches its first production boat: the Pogo 6.50. Results followed.
  • 1990EXPANSION AND RELOCATION

    Pogo Structures moves to Combrit Sainte-Marine in 1990 and expands. At this time we build one-off prototypes.
  • 1987CREATION OF THE SHIPYARD

    Pogo Structures is founded in 1987 in Quimper.
