Designed to sail fast, the POGO 33 is a 10.26 m racer-cruiser built on the racing hull of the Pogo RC, delivering a level of speed rarely found on a cruising boat of this size — without ever giving up comfort or safety.

The POGO 33 continues the Pogo philosophy: controlled lightness, a race-proven hull, ease of use and a high level of performance, all in the service of pure sailing pleasure.

A Pogo Built for Racer-Cruising

The POGO 33 aims for a clear balance:

  • Sail fast, easily, at every point of sail.
  • Stay competitive in handicap racing.
  • Deliver real cruising comfort, for family or short-handed sailing.

It's built for sailors looking for:

  • The great offshore classics (the Fastnet, the Transquadra, the Transat Cap-Martinique),
  • Local handicap racing (IRC, ORC…), weekend after weekend,
  • Or simply fast, comfortable cruising, without giving up the pleasure of sailing.

Architecture & Design

Designed in collaboration with naval architects Bernard Nivelt and Sam Manuard, the POGO 33 is built on the hull of the Pogo RC, with the dials reset to create a more versatile boat, built for cruising as much as for racing.

The project includes:

  • A modern semi-scow hull, optimised for IRC racing, for a level of speed rarely seen on a cruising boat this size.

  • A fixed keel (1.95 m) or lifting keel (2.80 m / 1.15 m), to suit every sailing programme.

  • A simple rig, with an aluminium mast as standard and a carbon mast optional.

  • Built-in unsinkable flotation volumes as standard, for added safety offshore.

Living Aboard

The POGO 33 is built as a genuine cruiser, with an entirely new deck that frees up living space: a protected cockpit, spacious cabins, a proper enclosed heads, and a technical locker.

Below decks, the layout is built around a double cabin forward and a double cabin aft, with additional berths in the saloon. A functional galley (sink, oven), a chart table and generous stowage round out an interior built for life on board — simple and efficient, in true Pogo style.

Two versions will be offered:

  • Fixed-keel version, for performance and simplicity — ideal for a racing-focused programme.

  • Lifting-keel version, for access to shallow anchorages and a wider cruising ground, in the Pogo tradition.

A Project Under Development

Currently in the design phase, the POGO 33 involves Pogo Structures' in-house design office together with the Manuard–Nivelt design duo. Launch of the first unit is scheduled for early summer 2027.
