The Pogo 502 is a 15 meter fast cruising yacht designed for sailors who want to travel far, cross oceans quickly and confidently, aboard a seaworthy and coherent yacht, without compromising reliability or safety.

Designed first and foremost for sailing, the Pogo 502 follows the lineage of the Pogo range:
Controlled lightweight construction, balance, elegance, simplicity of use and a high level of performance, all in service of pure sailing enjoyment.

A Pogo built for long-distance cruising

The Pogo 502 aims for a clear balance:

  • Sailing fast and easily on all points of sail,

  • Remaining comfortable, seaworthy and reassuring,

  • Making life on board easier for a short-handed or family crew.

It is designed for sailors planning:

  • Long ocean passages,

  • A round-the-world voyage,

  • Or simply relaxed cruising, without giving up the pleasure of sailing.

  • The Pogo 502 can also compete in offshore races (Giraglia, Fastnet Race, Bermuda Race, Middle Sea Race, etc.), where its potential can be fully exploited in a more demanding sailing environment.

Architecture & design

Designed in collaboration with the Finot-Conq naval architecture, the Pogo 502 benefits from our accumulated experience and from an extensive design process covering hull development, structural calculations, aesthetics and ergonomics, as well as from the yard’s well-known build quality.

The project notably includes :

  • A high-aspect ratio swing keel delivering strong performance while still allowing access to shallow anchorages.
  • A simple and efficient rig, with a carbon mast, square-top mainsail, and headsails on furlers, delivering a powerful yet easily handled sail plan.
  • A hull inspired by the latest generation of IMOCA yachts, designed for performance while also carefully optimized for comfort at sea and at anchor. It features fine entries for low drag and smooth passage through waves, widening rapidly from the forward third to generate power and stiffness under sail.
  • Watertight bulkheads forward and aft, along with integrated buoyancy foam volumes, providing enhanced safety for offshore sailing.

Interior layouts & life on board

The Pogo 502 is conceived as a true cruising yacht, where autonomy, reliability and simplicity are key priorities, both under sail and at anchor.

The interior layouts are designed for comfortable long-term living aboard: fluid circulation, functional storage, natural ventilation, and materials suited to intensive use, at sea and at anchor.

Several interior configurations will be available to suit different sailing programs:

  • A 3-cabin version, featuring a very spacious owner’s area forward, ideal for short-handed sailing,
  • A 4-cabin version, with generously sized cabins, suited to family cruising or more collective use.

A project under development

The Pogo 502 is currently in the final design phase. Final specifications, drawings and technical data will be released progressively as the project moves forward.
